Impact ionization and relaxation time

Dear BGW administrators,

I am interested in the impact ionization and relaxation time estimation in BGW code as your recent publications. (http://authors.library.caltech.edu/60476/1/PhysRevLett.112.257402.pdf and http://www.pnas.org/content/112/17/5291.abstract)

Is there possible to extract it from the current open released BGW? If possible, could you give me some hints how to obtain it?

Hello Loc,

The electron-electron lifetimes were calculated using the full-frequency functionality in BerkeleyGW, which is available publicly. Futher, the latest release allows for the use of the Contour Deformation method, which reduces the number of frequencies required for these calculations.

For the lifetimes due to the electron-phonon interaction, you will have to contact the developers of the EPW code.
